Headline: Effective, Accountable, and Transparent Governance Practices for Common Heritage Resources: Institutional Governance for Deep Seabed Mining

Bringing together renowned international experts, this workshop aims to scope the wide range of key issues and perspectives associated with deep seabed mining to develop a workplan for an interdisciplinary review and assessment of the International Seabed Authority’s (ISA) decision-making and regulatory practices to critically evaluate whether the ISA’s current practices may need to change to reflect current good governance standards.
